A TECHious artist at WICE 2026 in Malaysia
A TECHious visual artist from the 2024–25 team represented Bangladesh at the World Invention Competition and Exhibition 2026 in Malaysia with a robot project.
On 10 September 2026, TECHious congratulated one of its own: the team's Visual Artist for 2024–25, who represented Bangladesh at the World Invention Competition and Exhibition (WICE) 2026 in Malaysia.
An underwater robot
He took part with a project called "Autonomous Underwater Robot". In its post, TECHious praised his dedication, creativity and hard work, and said his achievement had brought pride not only to TECHious but to the whole country. The team wished him continued success and hoped he would inspire the next generation of innovators.
Recognition at the international round
On 26 September, TECHious followed up with a second post congratulating him on his achievement at the WICE international competition. The poster shared with that post states that he acquired gold in the international competition. TECHious has not published further details, such as the category or the number of entries.
From the national round to Malaysia
Earlier in the year, TECHious was Strategic Partner of the 8th WICE 2026 Bangladesh National Round, held on 9 May at Northern University Bangladesh and organised by Dreams Of Bangladesh. That round brought together young inventors from elementary school to university level in fields from IT and robotics to environmental science and engineering. The photo above is from that national round, not from Malaysia.
