About TECHious
A non-profit youth development community from Cumilla, Bangladesh, connecting young people with technology, skills and each other since 2022.
Who we are
TECHious (টেসিয়াস), also known as Team TECHious, is a non-profit youth development community based in Cumilla (Comilla), Bangladesh. It was founded in 2022 and works under the line “Connecting Communities with Tech & Skills”.
In its own description, TECHious is dedicated to connecting underprivileged communities with technology and skills development. Its mission is to empower people and communities through education, mentorship and access to technology resources. The team describes its work as youth development programmes built to national and international standards, and sums up its aim in three words: it “invents the youth”, giving students a stage, a skill set and a team to grow with.
The network rests on four pillars: Community, Skill, Leadership and Network. It works in English and Bangla, and its members call themselves “Insects”.

What we focus on
Most of what TECHious does falls into four areas. Each links to a fuller write-up on this site.
- Youth events and leadership. The flagship event YouthGEN 2025 brought talks, networking and a hands-on Experience Zone to Shilpakala Academy, Cumilla. Students can also lead on their own campus through the Campus Ambassador Programme.
- Skills and tech access. TECHious SkillHub is a practical training campaign for members, from basic to advanced level, which opened in January 2026 with a session on starting out as a designer.
- Community service. During Ramadan 2026, TECHious ran the operations of a free daily iftar at Cumilla Town Hall for the volunteer coalition কুমিল্লার জন্য আমরা, and hosted an iftar evening for the city’s youth organisations.
- Partnerships. TECHious was Strategic Partner of the WICE 2026 Bangladesh National Round and Community Partner of Expert Carnival 2026.
On LinkedIn, TECHious also lists community technology centres, women’s empowerment, climate change, governance and poverty alleviation among its areas of interest. Concrete projects in these areas will be added here once TECHious publishes them.

Who leads TECHious
TECHious was started by its Founder, Mashrafi Mohammad, who also serves as Chief Supervisor and led the first SkillHub training session. The Co-Founder, Sifat Hasan Fahim, serves as Deputy Chief Supervisor.
Day-to-day work is run by an Operational Team that changes each year. The Operational Team 2025–2026 was announced in April 2026 and took over at a formal handover meeting on 1 May 2026; it includes an Operational Chief, an HR Lead and a Media Lead. Members, volunteers and Campus Ambassadors work alongside them on projects, campaigns and events. Read more in New Operational Team takes over at TECHious.
Many TECHious members are students, so this site does not list members by name.
Who we work with
No node works alone. Businesses, clubs and media in Cumilla and beyond have backed TECHious projects, as named in its official posts.
