Volunteer with Cumilla’s youth network, represent TECHious on your campus, or back the next YouthGEN as a partner.
Volunteer as a TECHious member
TECHious grows its core team through a membership drive called Official Insect Recruitment (members are called “Insects”). The fourth edition, Recruitment 4.0, was open through an online form from 4 to 10 October 2025 under the line “Take your action and be a leader!”
The call invited young people who wanted to build leadership skills and upgrade their abilities through projects, campaigns and events. In return it promised:
- a team of like-minded people to grow future jobs, businesses or passions with;
- team-based work that strengthens collaboration;
- the chance to learn a chosen skill with guidance from mentors;
- leadership, networking, creativity and real experience.

Become a Campus Ambassador
Campus Ambassadors represent TECHious at their own school, college or university. The offer, in TECHious’s words: represent your campus, learn something new and move forward with TECHious. Gain skill, get recognised, be a leader. In Bangla, the call asked: আপনি কি নেতৃত্ব দিতে প্রস্তুত? (“Are you ready to lead?”)
The 2026–27 intake followed four steps:
- Fill in the form. The online application opened on 22 April 2026 and closed on 30 April at 11:59 pm.
- Short interview. Interviews ran in two phases, on 10 and 11 May 2026.
- Join the team. The selected ambassadors were announced on 13 May 2026.
- Get started. Onboarding followed the announcement.

Help at events and community work
Big days need many hands. At YouthGEN 2025, volunteers ran the check-in desk at Shilpakala Academy. During Ramadan 2026, young volunteers prepared and served free iftar every day at Cumilla Town Hall, with TECHious running operations for the coalition কুমিল্লার জন্য আমরা. Calls for event volunteers are posted on the TECHious Facebook page.
Partner or sponsor
Brands, clubs and institutions can back the next YouthGEN, a SkillHub session or a community project and build something for Cumilla’s youth together. Past partners have taken roles such as:
- Title sponsor (Ediz IT Institute, “Edizit Presents YouthGEN 2025”), powered by (SAS Group, Bangladesh) and co-powered by (Dighir Chap);
- knowledge, special and media partners, from ICT Expert and Phoneflix to Cumillar Kagoj and Morning Post, Comilla;
- community partners such as Uddami Youth Network Bangladesh, Leo Club of Comilla Greater and the clubs of BAIUST and Comilla University.
