Business stories were a thread running through YouthGEN 2025 on 20 September at Shilpakala Academy, Cumilla. In recap posts published between October and November, TECHious looked back at the founders who spoke to the young audience. Each guest received a "Token of Love" from the YouthGEN team after their session.

Hajee Aminur Rashid Yasin, Lalmai Group

The honoured guest of the day was Hajee Aminur Rashid Yasin, founder of Lalmai Group, whose business includes Lalmai Footwear. TECHious wrote that his life story shows how hard work, honesty and steady willpower can make any dream possible, and that he sees business as successful only when it benefits people and moves society forward. In February 2026, TECHious congratulated him on his appointment as a government minister.

Kausar Akash, Dighir Chap

Md Kausar Hossain Akash, founder of Dighir Chap and co-powered-by sponsor of the event, told the story of turning a small food cart into one of Cumilla's best-known food brands. His message, as TECHious summarised it, was that the courage to grow a dream from small to big is the real key to success.

Mahi Rahman, Ediz IT Institute

Mahi Rahman, founder and CEO of title sponsor Ediz IT Institute, spoke about seven years of freelancing on the Fiverr marketplace before he set up his own institute, and about skills as the way young people can move the country forward.

Nahid Rana, Farah Naz Islam Shila and Freelancer Faruk

Nahid Rana, owner of El Clasico, talked about discipline, patience and planning. Farah Naz Islam Shila, founder of sponsor Srishti Shila, shared her experience of running a business. Freelancer Faruk, founder and CEO of Expart IT, described building a career through freelancing.
